Wii U: How do I connect to my wireless network?

Here we describe how you can wirelessly connect a Nintendo Wii U to your Sitecom router. It is advisable to first read through all the steps before you get started. If you don’t succeed, please consult your Wii U documentation or contact the Nintendo helpdesk.

1. From the menu, select System Settings.

2. Then select the Internet logo.

3. Next, select Connect to the Internet.

4. The Wii U will automatically display all the available Wi-Fi networks. Select your Sitecom network.

5. You will then be asked for your router’s network name (SSID or SSID1) and WPA2 password. These are shown on the bottom of your router or in the Network Login Details flyer that may have been supplied with it.

NB: if you have changed the name of your network and/or your password, you must use these modified details to establish a connection with your Wii.

6. Once the details have been entered correctly, the Wii U will perform a connection test. If this was successful, click on OK to continue. If a connection cannot be established, please consult your Wii U documentation or contact the Nintendo helpdesk.

7. It is also possible to set the created connection as the default connection for your Wii U. Select Yes if you wish to do this.
